Let’s Ride…
1 on 1 Lessons
Are tailored to suit individual needs. Lessons focus on building or honing fundamental skills so that riders can progress safely to more advanced maneuvers. Lessons include on trail video analysis and follow-up compilation of riding footage. Line choice, cornering, braking, balance, maneuverability, climbing, traction, and gaining confidence at speed are just a few of the topics covered. Riders can take one or more lessons. The first lesson always starts with bike set up and setting suspension sag.
Group Lessons
Group lessons are a great way of saving some money while still accessing professional individualized coaching. These lessons also focus on the fundamentals but can be designed around features and/or maneuvers the group is interested in. There may be a specific part of the trail (or entire trail) that everyone wants to work on or improve their skills through. We will go over terrain awareness, cornering, roll downs, technical climbing, and linking all of these maneuvers together. Video analysis can be requested.
Guided Rides
Guided rides are limited to 4 individuals and place less emphasis on skills coaching and more time riding. The idea is to have a continuous flow throughout the trail network and to avoid riding up all the “down” trails. Every time I go to a new trail network, I ride up what would be way better going down. Rides are tailored to the ability of the group and their interests. Boston Lot, Ascutney, Green Woodlands, Rattlesnake Mtn, Mt. Peg, Lincoln Woods, RI, Douglas State Forest, MA, and Perry Hill, VT.
Clinics
Clinics take awhile to plan and obtain proper permits. Intro to Enduro and All-Mtn clinics are in the works. These will be coming in the future and be staffed by certified coaches and some former pro riders. An all women’s clinic for enduro is expected and some youth based programing. Fall 2023 at the earliest or Summer 2024.
Bike & Equipment Choice Consultation
After 10 years working in the bike industry and 20 years racing, I developed great deal of experience with different bikes, components, training trends, adapting to new geometries, and trial and error bike set-up. At the last shop I worked for, I used to consult on bike geometries and individual components to build whatever the customer could imagine. These bikes were shipped all over the world requiring me to take off the rear swing arm depending on each countries size restrictions. I can help you with your equipment set-up and if you are confused making a new purchase. We will discuss your current set-up, reach and wheelbase numbers, preferred geometry and pedaling platform, style of riding/racing, and budget. This will result in a narrowed down group of potential bikes and then we will discuss parts pros and cons. As a smaller rider, I have always had to make adjustments to any bike I have purchased and learned a few tricks along the way to share with you. I have owned about 50 different bikes now and demoed countless more.
The Journey
It is the unknown around the corner that turns my wheels.
